SMART Goals: 2017
SMART goals are goals that are Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Timely. Frankly, I believe these ords describe themselves. However, the idea that they convey is extremely important - that we make goals all the time, but only those that have some aspect of all the SMART words are "good" goals.

To practice SMART goals, I worked with my friend Katie Miller. My goal was to get eight hours of sleep for at least six nights a week for two weeks. Katie held me accountable by asking me questions about each night's sleep.

In the future, I will remember that SMART goals are key to success and that if I make goals, which I obviously will, they will need the SMART elements to make me as successful and happy as possible.
